I was also wondering if the griddle was ever chromed. I saw a picture of a restored chambers that had a chromed griddle, and while it looked super nice, I have no experience cooking on chrome, so I don't know how well it would hold up.

Also, looks like someone cut the electrical cords for the side lights.

Is the bottom of the over, that big heavy cast iron removable part, supposed to be flared up on the sides and hang from the lowest rack?

That is a truly beautiful stove... sort of brings a tear to my eye... $150.00 eh? Hope that you enjoy the "de-rusting" process as much as we did on this end... in a few months, depending upon your workload, you shall be fixing oatmeal with the rest of us...
